And so another week comes to an end. I am looking forward to this long weekend. A lot. Today I went fig picking with my parents on the Lawn. There's a cluster of trees on the...east side? I'm not good with directions. Anyway we harvested the fresh, succulent figs and ate them on the spot. They were really good. I wonder how you say fig in Japanese.
One thing that's making me happy: recently whenever I guess the katakana for certain words and check online dictionaries I've been right! Well, not all the time, but more than senshumatsu or sensenshumatsu. : )
Speaking of which, for some reason I cannot get the names for the first ten days of the month to stick in my head...p.95 is hard.
I hope that all of you that are heading home or elsewhere this weekend have safe and leisurely journeys. Jaa matta! (this computer stopped letting me type in hiragana...)

hooksan!このしゅまつにDDRをしますか。いいですね～～！sounds fun:) so..you went fig picking? fig is called いちじくのみ in japanese..says the dictionary.haha anyways, i am also looking forward to this long weekend. cant wait! cya in class:-)

leise! You remember me, I'm Vincent! i'm in the 1pm section...I saw u in the review class once but just didn't have the chance to say hi to you. Yeah, p95 is a pain...good luck in nihongo! Hopefully we can communicate in this language later?

Hey whenever u go to a tea party....just let me know. わたしはおちゃがだいすきですよ。which means I love tea. Pg. 95 is pretty annoying but we can work on it if you like. ついたち、ふつか、みっか、よっか、いつか。
hooksan!!I'm glad you enjoyed our presentation. and I was pretty happy with myself given I bought the poster at 1 am at teeter then proceeded to put together the whole thing...with tape and leftover colorful flyers I had lying around.
haha..i had no idea we had figs on grounds. Do they taste anything like Fig Newtons? cause that's all I eat....and sushi. duh.
figs are delicious. enjoy your break!
